Fuze page is - i guess - my blog, and my current project is Fuze Engine & Fuze Game (very creative names, i know).
It is based on popular browser game Diep.io, but with many additions and changes - making it not really a replacement or clone of diep.io, but a new game entirely. The current future plans for the game (it might change) also takes inspiration from Robocraft where you design your own tank out of blocks. The use of it here is: It will be two-dimensional, and 'blocks' will be shown as unicode characters (more on that in the Fuze Engine section). The tool used to design it can just be a .txt file from notepad, or be done within the site in a text box.
A second inspiration is Moomoo.io, where you build structures, like walls or windmills, to level up. The entire moomoo.io won't be copied, its just used as an example because you will be able to build some of those structures in Fuze Game.
The original idea was to have the game a lot like diep.io, except instead of getting an option to upgrade your tank to a higher level preset every 15 levels, you gain upgrade points that can be used to add a new barrel to the tank (you choose the type of barrel), and each type of gun has its own upgrades (you can upgrade the bullet speed, damage, etc. This is in diep.io to an extent but the upgrades apply for ALL the guns on the tank, not individual ones) as well as the tank itself having upgrades (this is already in diep.io). But i came up with the new idea and thought it was more unique and would really make this game stand out against the other diep.io based io games being made right now, besides, Gunna.io already plans to do the part-based upgrading system. Competition drives innovation.
The unicodes used might include Symbols for Legacy Computing to display objects in more than 4 directions but for now is just Block Elements.
